A beautifully created contemporary style painting. Using metallic gold, acrylic paint over a custom made stencil of a Gecko. The style of the stencil work is of a type similar to a tribal tattoo style. Multi layered red and black background, creating a wonderful modern feel to this painting.
This is an original modern contemporary gold and red art, original acrylic framed painting.
These framed works of art are an alternative option to my resin work, and are of the same style, except they don’t have a resin finish on, however, they do come in a beautiful polished silver metal frame and are double mounted.
The background technique requires several layers of different shades and colours and once I reach a stage of satisfaction, this finish has a resemblance of a natural stone appearance.
The final stage is the subject, of which I design and hand make a stencil which I can use to create other wonderful pieces of art.
Modern and contemporary appearance, these artworks can be suited to both modern and traditional interior, at home or in the workspace.
I take great care when packaging my artwork ready for shipping. I wrap the painting with foam/bubble wrap. Packaged between either 3mm MDF or some hardboard, giving extra peace of mind against damage whilst being shipped.
