A beautifully created contemporary style painting. Variety of colors, some of which are metallic acrylic paint over a custom made stencil of a Butterfly. The style of the stencil work is of a type similar to a tribal tattoo style. The background consists of several layers, using different shades of brown and red. This creates a wonderful modern feel to this painting.
This framed Butterfly artwork is an original modern contemporary original acrylic artwork.
An alternative option to my stencil resin work, these framed artworks are the same style, except they don’t have a resin finish on. These paintings come in a beautiful polished silver metal frame and are double mounted.
The background technique requires several layers of different colors and has a resemblance of a natural stone appearance. The final stage is the subject, of which I design and hand make a stencil which I can use to create other wonderful pieces of art.

I take great care when packaging my artwork ready for shipping. Not only do i wrap the painting with foam/bubble wrap, but I will also sandwich the artwork in between either 3mm MDF or some hardboard. This is to give extra peace of mind against damage whilst being shipped.
Artwork size : The actual artwork itself is 405x405mm, and frame size is approx 500x500mm.
