Original Hummingbird art for sale, created as a vivid contemporary painting by a UK artist. This eye-catching artwork features a modern abstract style with bold colour and strong detail.
At the centre, a chrome hummingbird forms the main focus. I create the bird using a handmade stencil and metallic chrome spray paint. As a result, the subject has a striking shine and sharp definition. In contrast, the background displays rich blue tones with a multi-coloured finish.
I build the background using several layers of acrylic paint. During this process, I adjust the shades until the surface feels balanced. Because of this technique, the final effect resembles natural stone and adds depth to the artwork.
Next, I frame the painting in an 8mm polished silver metal frame. In addition, I double mount the artwork to create a clean and modern presentation. Therefore, the piece feels complete and ready to display.
This framed hummingbird artwork offers an alternative to my resin pieces. However, it does not include a resin finish. Instead, it comes fully framed and double mounted. As a result, it arrives ready to hang.
Finally, I design and hand cut each stencil myself. This process allows me to create other artworks in the same style. At the same time, every piece remains original and unique.

I take great care when packaging my artwork ready for shipping. Not only do i wrap the painting with foam/bubble wrap, but I will also sandwich the artwork in between either 3mm MDF or some hardboard. This is to give extra peace of mind against damage whilst being shipped.
